Why go?
God has called His children not only to be disciples, but to also make disciples. It is a responsibility. In Matthew 28:18-20 Jesus gives His followers the mandate known as the "Great Commission". In this passage there are three key elements that frame not only this trip, but our entire lives as Christians.
And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20

When is the trip?
The trip will be in two phases:
June 4-18 | Pastor's Conference Team
Team consists of Pastor Aaron Mansfield and Calvin Myers. The team objectives include: Ministering in two local churches on Sundays, lead an intensive five day pastor's conference for about a dozen men (local MLI pastors & Bible institute teachers) to provide additional theological training on major doctrines, ministry topics, and practical issues. This team will combine with the church team for the second week.
June 13-26 | Church Team (15 spots available)
Our church will be partnering together with Mission Link International. It is a ministry that is based out of the USA, but also has a base in Uganda. The church team will be led by our associate pastor Stephen Vaughan. We will be flying into Entebbe, Uganda. We will then travel to the city Jinja which is a few hours away by bus. This city will be the hub of our ministry while there.

How will we minister?
Our strategy is threefold.
The ministry focuses of the church team will include: working in a deaf and hearing school, personally discipling our African brothers and sisters, holding a prayer advance (conference), working with street kids, sharing and caring in a local hospital, holding gospel crusades in villages, ministering to widows apart of the Mission Link ministry, and other various projects.
- Share - We will share with those in Uganda who do not have a personal relationship with Christ
- Serve - We will serve alongside our Ugandan brothers and sisters in Christ
- Strengthen - We go to strengthen churches in East Africa and believe we will be strengthened as well
